Hi everyone at Ocean ;-)
First - its really great to see everyone in here. Nice that you opened the forum to the public and to let us "mere mortals" read about the good old days you had across the channel. Its strange - been in Retrospec for quite some years now and I never knew Bill H. is the Ocean Bill H. ;-))) Hi Bill !
Was wondering one thing - anyone remember a bloke called Dusko Dimitrijevic coming to your offices with a game called Movie - was published under Imagine label (but that was part of the Ocean around that time, right?) and later Ocean also released Phantom Club by the same author. He was from Yugoslavia and I believe he had enough $$$ to pay for one way ticket to the UK, the ticked back was payed by Imagine ;-) Any stories about that? He was a kind of celebrity here since he was the only one that "made it" in the big business in those times. All forgotten now ofcurse, no trace of him on the net or anything...
Best regards, Tomaz

Hi Tomaz.
I remember Dusko very well - he was a lovely bloke and very talented. I recall we took him out for a 'drink' one night and he got very, very drunk!
I don't know what happened to him. We felt he could have been another Jon RItman as his isometric-designed games were very creative (and he did his own graphics too, I think!). I don't believe Phantom Club was actually finished, was it?
I would like to know what he is doing now. - please post here if you find out.

I don't believe Phantom Club was actually finished, was it? I'm almost *certain* that I've got Phantom Club on a tape compilation for my Amstrad. It was a very clean-looking isometric superhero game where you shoot beams out of your eyes, wasn't it? Ah! This seems to be me de-lurking. Hello.

Howdo - would that be the same Tomaz that did the jolly spiffy remake of Head over Heels with Graeme?
Welcome aboard!
Movie was a top little game...

Hehe, yeah, its the same Tomaz that did the HOH remake with Grahams terrific gfx Thanx ! Unfortunetly noone I talked to lately knows what Dusko does these days.... if I find out anything I will let you know. I think Phantom Club (released on ZX and CPC) was his last game. Not really on par with Movie, but quite nice. Movie really had the atmosphere that just kept you going, even though I don't think there is anyone out there that actually completed the thing.
