Any of you lot remember Gaz, Eva and Anthony (me) god i remember coming in at nine and having finished for the day at 9:30 Jobs a good en! All we did was piss around all day it was like the meeting place for the whole company. usually the lads going on about how many drugs they had popped at the weekend and listen to this choon its bangin man! I remember one time me and one of the testers called paul (cant remember his full name) went to the square albert at dinner time and i had 5 pints of cider came back into work, theyre was nothing to do so went back to the pub had another couple came back to work again and then promptly passed out on the floor of the post room. Whilst everyone was trying to bring me round with some of that good old Ocean coffee (ill have 12 sugars please) Funny cos apparently one of the bosses not gary but the other guy was it john something i cant remember spotted me on the floor. A week later id been made redundant. Ocean was the best place to work it was just one long piss take. But no one seemed to care. This was in 92 i think just before they relocated in castlefield. Ahh memories!

Gaz that was me, but there were 2 Gareth B's, Myself (Betts) and the guy who came from the warehouse Gareth Bryan i think, he was seeing Emma. Don't recall the guy passing out in the post room. Ant are you pigeon aka Anthony Barlow.
On another slight tangent has anyone seen Kane valentine over the past year or so, had been in contact with him for a while when he moved back up into Manchester, but lost contact with him again.

Yeah, You are right that is the very same man. Yeah I worked with reflections as an external senior producer for Atari on various projects, Driver 2, Stuntman, Driver 3
I have now left Atari and am now working for SCEE, and it is fair to say thoroughly enjoying it.
Do you remember Lee Edmondson also? He is now a fully qualified driving Instructor. He worked at software creations and then EA for a while. He is now happily married with 2 beautiful little monsters.

Greetings Mr B.
Mr B here. Yup, I remember all you guys. There were times when you lot were the only people who made the basement tolerable during the hissy-fits from some of the coding fraternity. It was like having our very own box full of monkeys just down the corridor. Great fun and for the most part, happy days.
Nice to think you're just down the road here in jolly old Liverpool.
take it easy mate!!

Say Hi to Lee for me.
Kids eh? I've got 4 of my own here and we're expecting our first grandchild any day. In fact it's 24 hours late already. It's the heat, it's staying in the shade.

Hi Simon and Gary,
I will pass on your regards to Lee E. Still see a few of the old faces now and again, Tim W, Pete Burrows, Lee Clare to mention a few. Would really like to get back in contact with Kane Valentine though. Lost contact about a year ago.

I bought a copy of chase hq C64 cartridge and it didnt fit in the back of the computer so i was told to bring it to ocean (Bit dodgy) anyway rang the bell and who should come to the door but Lee and he ran upstairs and brought me down a Chisled down Rom. And off i went. Deliriously happy with my new game. And as for working on driver 2 and 3 and stuntman blimey couldnt you have told the programmers to make em a bit easier whoaah i finished stuntman and driver 3 by using the swear loudly at the tele method. Christ they were hard. Driver 2 no chance! ;D Anyhow nice to hear your doing well Gaz!

Gary, Simon, Ant and of course Gaz B hello and regards Joined recently and thought I would add my little bit as I started in the post room around 1990 with Deb and Rachel (gaz B remember her do ya, think i will save that story for another time lol) should make an amusing tale. As you can tell from the log on name I am that pill popper from Oldham:) The post room was a blast, do you all remember when Deb my boss got sacked for fraud sending on postal orders she nicked from ocean customers, she only got caught because a customer chased up the cashed postal order and it had been used to buy stuff at kays or something. Simon a box full of monkeys describes up perfectly, bloody hard working monkeys mind you. Saying that i am sure the RSPCA would have a few issues putting monkeys in front of screens all day to play games think it would come under cruelty these days. Gary hope life's treating you well and my regards back.
