Well, you did miss the major blow-up between Colin and myself a number of years later. Now THAT one, I could have sold tickets to. However, I'll leave the story for someone else to relate - I was a little too close to it!!

I'd like to apologise to Lorraine for being so annoying and generally offensive...
She didn't deserve any of it.
And to Gary for basically the same reasons and for ruining his office with cheap beer.
He seldom deserved any of it.
Other than that you can all go swing because you probably annoyed me far more than I did you...remember, you were all kids...and there is NOTHING more annoying than kids.
And if I did annoy you...then who cares? You probably deserved it anyway.

I'd like to apologise to Simon for kneeing him in the balls so hard he was off sick the next day. Actually Simon, come to think of it, I wouldn't like to apologise because, if memory serves me correctly, you actually deserved that one. ;D

However, I'll leave the story for someone else to relate - I was a little too close to it!! Do you mean Colin Gresty or Colin Stokes? If it was Mr. Stokes I think I had a small part to play in that one when he propositioned me in his office and wouldn't let me out and I came downstairs shaking and told you, and then 30 minutes later he did the same thing to Debbie Abbott - the office junior at the time. I have to say though, his one redeeming feature is that he was responsible for me getting the job at Ocean in the first place, and for that, I will be eternally grateful.

ditto ermm about the job, not the proposition...I ermm don't want to talk about that. yuckkk
I just remembered something funny, I could have hired Mr Stokes a couple of years ago after he left Rage, and was working somwhere in Bolton, clearly looking for his next job.
I was a studio head and his CV landed on my desk, I remember thinking its a funny old world and things go round in circles.

Funnily enough, I was thinking about this the other day, Lorraine. I feel I owe an apology to Mick West. Mick - I apologise for giving you 'Darkman' to do. A supreme waste of your talents and something I regretted for a long time. Not that he'll ever read this, I suppose. But wanted to get it off my chest. As for everything else - no apologies as je ne regrette rien!!! Right, who's next??? That's quite alright Gary, Darkman was, er.... sort of fun, and after all, we had to got through there to reach here, so all is well. Plus, I re-used the Darkman random number generator in Tony Hawk..... I'm sorry my copy protection for Parasol Stars never worked, after I spend a month programming it, and promising you the game would be uncopyable. Whoops. Ah, Ocean, those were some formative years.

Thanks, Mick. I wasn't expecting to find you here!! I'd forgotten all about the Parasol Stars - I guess I can find it in my heart to grudgingly forgive .... I'd been keeping up with what you (and a few other ex-Oceanites) had been doing and was delighted to follow the success story that was Neversoft - many, many congratulations! Well deserved! All the best, Mick.

Hello Mick - fantastic to see you on here - how are you doing? I'm doing great thank you. As Mr Higgins mentioned I'm kind of retired. Although I still do some work from time to time to keep my fingers in. I had James (BJ) Higgins and Mike Lamb round my house for christmas last year. See the receeding hairlines: BJ: Mike: Me and the wife: Or members13.clubphoto.com/mick630761/3019501 if those photo's don't work. I see John Brandwood every five years or so. I saw Meegan about 8 years ago. Lorraine, I saw you at E3 a few years back. You coming over this year? Mick.

Great Pictures Mick, thanks. None of you seem to have changed that much. Sadly I will not be coming to E3 this year, much as I would love to. If any of you are over in the UK please get in touch.. and where's my invite to Christmas Dinner?
