The first Ocean Loader was done in house by Bill Barna. After Terra Cresta, I'm afraid the Ocean Loaders with Jon Dunn, Pete Clarke and Matt Cannon tunes (with the scrolls, loader games, raster interrupts, freeze frame removal) were all my fault!

Sorry Paul, what about that Matthew Cannon loader?
In the HVSC there actually are some musics named Loader but I couldn't find the games which contained that "Loader" music.
You see, I am leading a thesis about Ocean Loaders, and some more info about that music, especially about which games contained it, would be great indeed.

Howdo,
Only just saw your reply. Matt's tune was used on a tonne of the Hit Squad budget titles that Ocean put out.
The loader had a lower baud rate than the standard Freeload, as the (cheaper) duplicators couldn't reliably dupe it, so those games needed a longer piece of music than Jon/Martin's stuff.
From late '87 onwards most of the loaders contained Jon's tunes (the exception was Mutants which used Fred Gray's title theme as it was a) lovely and b) we were getting sick of the standard Ocean Loader tune!)
Paulie.
