Especially Lorraine for her organisational skills (great venue, talent to suit every taste, nice music) and Gary for his outstanding generosity. Great to see Steve Thomson, Ged (in his Canal St garb) , Kate, Jenni (who I initally didn't even recognise ), Matty Cannon, Kevin, Mark Jones and Steve. Its a shame I had to bail early as I was having a really good time. Not looking forward to the photos, mind

You need not worry about the pictures, everyone I spoke to commented on how you looked EXACTLY the same as you did at Ocean. You must have some ageing portrait hidden away somewhere.
The pictures will be on the site this week - just have to get some of those red eyes fixed.

I somehow managed to miss you out of the list of folk. DOH! Sorry Bill. I was very heartened that as rock music has evolved, so has your appearance And thanks to you Bill for setting up the site for all the right reasons and giving us the Ocean version of Friends Reunited. Let's not leave it so long until next time.

Aye aye, here here to Bill and Lorriane, without whom....Was great to see Gary, Lorraine, Jolly Steve, Bill, Meegan, Steve Lavache (who I spent many hours talking to when I was at Ocean when I had nothing to do and would let me sit in his room talking guff probably!) and Matty Canon again after all this time. Was good to meet some of the others too who I didn't work with but can now put names to faces.
Jolly Steve and Jon Meegan looked exacty the same as I remember them. And Gary and Lorraine, don't worry, you haven't changed THAT much. Gary's mullet has gone and Lorraine now has foxy chick hair!
The photos have turned out well so no one worry. You'll be glad they were taken when the reunion is but a distant memory. Though I can't believe I was the only to take a bloody camera! B'JESUS!
Let me know when ya free for lunch Lorraine and Bill and I'll come into town to meet you.
Three cheers for Bill and Lolly Pop Lorraine!

Wonderful to see everyone. I shan't list all concerned as I'd be terrified of missing someone out. However, as noted above, I was surprised to see how little everyone had changed (and it's 11 years since I last saw most of you).
One thing that occurred to me that night was how easy we all slipped back into conversation with people we haven't seen for so many years. I always interpret that as a sign of genuine friendship, and certainly comfort. Everyone acted as if it were only a week ago that they last saw that person and I think that illustrates the bond that exists.
Well done Bill for starting this whole thing off, and hats off to Lorraine for organising it so efficiently. Thanks again to everyone who made the effort to turn up. It was a great night!

Hi-Ho! Can't believe how little so many of you have changed - Johhny seems to have been taking Peter Pan pills as he looks the same as I remember him 16 years ago! Goddam you!
Gutted I couldn't make it - it landed on the same day as one of the lads' stag do in Wales. Goddam it...
