As is usual in cases like this, much younger people have repeatedly informed me that I actually get my bus pass when I'm 60.

Well in this instance, none of us are that much younger.
And don't knock the free bus pass. Think of all the places you could travel to completely free. Southport, Formby, Manchester, Wigin, Blackburn . . The living years will just fly by.
