Hello All,
Just found out about this site from Lorraine. Must say it's brought back some memories. I'm Mike Webb and worked at Ocean from 84 to 86.
Looking around, I see a few people that are missing from when I was there.
What about Tony Pomfret (sp?) Dave Collier Kevin Edwards Paul Owens Richard Kay
And all them others whose names I can't remember.
Mike.

Tony Pomfret is probably in some dark corner eating pies...
Richard Kay is far too rich to speak to the likes of us.
He lives on Jersey, flies his own plane and counts his millions.

Hey Mike!
Its been a LONG time. Tony P is around - he's posted a couple of times.
I've sent Dave Collier an email about the place - if he ever gets around to reading his email he'll probably join us!
Lost touch with Kev E after Acclaim went pop...

Hiya all. My names Dave Blake. I worked with Colin Porch (fossil! haha) on a couple of games on the C64 in 1988. I still keep in touch with Colin...got him email address here somewhere.. I can't beleive i didnt know 'bout this site. I saw a piccy of myself in last months RetroGamer (im on the left at the front in the white shirt), and thats how I found out about this - from a guy at the magazine. I helped write Gryzor and Operation Wolf, and a few other bits. Actually worked for Software Projects just before Ocean for a month or so with Mathew Smith in Liverpool.. One of the graphics guys moved with me to Ocean about the same time....his name escapes me now...(it was 17 yeas ago!). ...guy with a beard.

Welcome Mr Blake. Nice to see you back - you'll be glad to know that I'll be putting the video of Cheggers interviewing you in the dungeon, but didn't make it on the show. It's not that embarressing- really

Hiya all. My names Dave Blake. Hi David, Welcome on board. I'm afraid that Bill is right. Your Keith Chegwin interview has survived all these years on one of my videos. I'm sure you can't WAIT to see it! ;D So what's Colin up to now? No one hear seems to know. Also, what was actually in Retro Gamer? Did they print that group picture? Could you possibly do a scan for me? My email is in my profile. Anyway, good to have another ex-employee join us. Enjoy it,

'Ello David - I remember you working with Fossil. Is he still around? It would be good to get him on here!
I beleive it was Martin Macdonald that came with you from Software Projects.
I think the picture in RetroGamer was the second group shot by the Germans (the one with Gary and Shortty showing off some dodgy moustache action) ;D
What are you upto these days?

I think the picture in RetroGamer was the second group shot by the Germans (the one with Gary and Shortty showing off some dodgy moustache action) David sent me the pic. It was the colour one with Jane Lowe in and no Gary. For some reason they point out where you are standing Paul. Any idea why?

Colin's (fossils) email address is colin@ebu.co.uk.
I think EBU stands for 'English Bridge Union' or something, 'cause Colin was always into playing bridge.... Im sure he wont mind me posting his email address on here (well, hope not! lol)
