This prompted me to check out the Ocean listing in Friends Reunited. Here's a name.... Lee Dowthwaite!!! Anyone else remember him?
It really would be pretty good if somehow everyone learned of this site/forum. Surely they must all be connected - chain-wise - to someone here. The degrees of separation have to be minimal.

Missing in action (from my era any road):
Steve Wahid Steve Lavache Lee Cowley Rocky Ming Kane Valentine Mike Lamb Rick Plamer Jon Dunn Martin Galway Jane Lowe Colin Porsche Gary Biasilo Mark Jones Snr Dave Collier Andy Deakin Ivan Horn Zach Townsend Andy Sleigh Dawn Drake Martin McDonald Bobby Earl and any of the girls from upstairs, oh , and the bosses. Can you imagine if David Ward was to join us! Ha!
And who was the lad who had a 'Clint Boon from the Inspiral Carpets' haircut and was akin to wearing yellow 'Madchester' jeans? He lived in some converted flats just up from the McDonalds on Oxford Road, I think he could have been a games tester. He was there when work was being done on 'Total Retard'.

Jon Dunn has his own studio - Semi-Precious - he's done loads of stuff for us. Ivan Horn is still at Warthog. Rick Palmer used to work for us on Harry Potter Martin Galway is over in Texas at Digital Anvil Gari Biasilo is in Canada at EAC Dave Collier is doing I.T over in Oz Zach runs some internet company in his home town. Bobby (I think) still runs Spiral House with Robbie T Steve Lavache works for Game Trak
Any more for any more?

Mark, That would be Andy Routledge. Sweet guy who went on to work for Software Creations in Seattle. I worked with him at Creations. I remember doing a tune for one of his games - he described this tune as 'Mental', and asked me to change it. Business as usual...

Blimey - this t'internet thing is phenominal for bringing everyone back together - we've gotta do this reunion! Aye indeedy phwip! Sometimes it's even 'feels' like we are all downstairs at 'Ocean', sitting on someone's desk on a rainy dinner time, someone on the look out for Lorraine or Gary (if seen, a quick and discrete dispersal followed!) eating crisps and kinder egss and having a heated debate!!

Bill, Hi! It's good to hear from you. What a blast this website is! My days at OS are a bit of a blur really, being a wee bairn at the time, but this forum is slowly bringing back the memories...
Wonder what happened to Fran? I bumped into him on the train on the way to Liverpool back in '95 (I was working for Rage). He was writing business software, and seemed as 'up' as ever.
I never did keep up the golf, BTW!

Hi Bill, Matt and everyone else!!! I do remember that train Journey when I bumped into Matt... I'm not writing that boring business software now.. I'm working as an IT manager in Manchester.. I'm looking to get out of IT and am doing an Airline Pilots License as we speak.. Not bad for someone who was scared of flying just a few years ago..
Bill you've done a great job with the site and bringing people together.. Best years of my youth were spent at Ocean... We all need to meet up very soon for a good old booze up!!!.. ;D
