Aw - sniff - what can say to all that, im welling up now.
I loved those days I really did - I was chatting to Lorraine yesterday, all of you guys were like family to me. We all really should meet up for a re-union soon. (first round on me).
Have any of you guys played the Adventures of Batman and Robin Game Jobbee and I developed when we were Clockwork Tortoise? I have the rom if anyone wants it, all you need is a megadrive emulator -Id love you guys to play it sometime - really proud of what we achieved - some masterful coding from Mr. O'Brien - psuedo 3D and everything.
I found some of my old 64 disks the other day with loads of old loading screens (some old demo work) - do any of you guys know a way of getting the files off??. I tried in vain to make one of those cables to read a C64 drive, but it didnt work - thick brummie I am!!!

Ey-up Mr Jolly...
Doing well thanks - set up Warthog with some mates from EA nearly 8 years ago, just sold the company to Gizmondo back in November.
How's life down at Blitz?
If you want to get old stuff off C64 disks I'm sure Mr Gasking (that's on these forums) and runs a C64 website would be able to point you in the right direction.
- Paulie.

Yup.. if you like i'd be happy to port them myself. Got the transfer stuff all set up next to my main PC all ready to go.
If you wanted to send anything down though... I'd recommend Special Delivery, what with the crappy postal system we have.

Don't know about hi-res + multicolor but Epyx was an early adopter of doing sprites by stacking several hi-res sprites on top of each other, Summer Games (1984) for example. Another early game I was a bit surprised to see doing a lot of sprite overlaying is Parker Bros C64 conversion of Q*bert.

Ok, well feel free to give me a email at frank.gasking@ntlworld.com and i'll let you know my postal address to send any to. But if you post anything, please do it registered, as I wouldn't trust the postal system with a barge pole.

I think from now on, when I picture you, I will always have that video image of you and Martin Mac arguing over the Xmas #1. Makes me smile every time I see it. Wonderful stuff!
