Hello all, great website, brings back many memories of my youth. Just a quick question as to why Tai-Pan and WEC Le Mans were never released on the Amiga platform? I'm sure i remembered both games being advertised in various magazines back in the day. Can anyone shed any light as to why they were unreleased for the Amiga?

I remember Ocean France where doing Le Mans on ST and Amiga - I saw disks full of graphics ripped off the arcade board and quantised, but I can't for the life of me remember a version actually running on ST or Amiga... Gary?

Yeah, that was the period Ocean France developed loads of titles........ but finished none! I think WEC was one of those casualties.
As for Tai=Pan, I'm afraid it never was developed for Amiga. It was early on in the 16-bit phase IIRC, and I think we were betting more heavily on the ST at the time. Swiftly changed tack as we saw the rapid growth of Amiga, though!

Well in fact Wec le mans never existed as graphics or code program at Ocean France.
BTW Gary, Snow Bros is preserved in CAPS for Winuae.
The best Ocean Game so far, even if it never hit the shelves.

What? Even better than 'Susan and her Flowery Ironing Board'? That's a CLASSIC!

Hmmm. Well somebody ripped the graphics (could've been Colin Gordon I suppose, as he did that with some Data East boards)- 'cos I've still got the disks lurking about! In fact Jobbee and I put together a WEC track with those graphics using the ST Batman track. Looked lovely too!
