Sitting here on a boring sunday afternoon decided to into the kitchen for something to eat.. alas I moved house recently and lost alot of things.. but one of the things I was able to save was my Ocean - Six Star Hits tape that I now thanks to this forum realise was an australian only release.. I think it was a series of tapes actually with top ocean games on..
my tape is the ever popular:
(Side A)
Double Take
Mutants
Parallax
(Side B)
Great Escape
Wizball
Head Over Heels
anyway the point... I got the tape in 1987 when i was 6.. and just like some treasured childhood blanket or stuffed toy.. im now 26.. and I discover this tape on my kitchen counter.. under some cables
its battered and worn.. head over heels doesnt work, parallax doesnt work, as they were my 2 favorate games..
but double take.. and mutants work.. as does wizball
I had the oppotunity to own a C64 system again before I moved and I fired up the old girl and tried to play double take.. mutants I wont touch.. it scared me when I was younger and still scares me now.. that music... *shudder* horrible horrible!!
anyway history lesson aside i'd love for someone to help me with doubletake.. I remember the 3 indicator lights ment that the object was in the right universe, time and room.. but I forget which means what and what key to press.. it seems a VERY obscure as google cant find much about it other than its box
if anyone has a scan of the instructions i'd love to get a copy and or a walkthrough.. its a strange game I admit I dont quite like.. but at the age of 27.. to finally conquer the game that stumped me all these years would be a wonderful thing....
thats of course if...
its actually got an ending..
