Hi, I run the Konix Multisystem website and I'm looking for as much information as I can get regarding Ocean and Konix. I know that Jon Woods was involved in some way, however the only thing I know other than the fact that "Run the Gauntlet" was in development is that out of the huge back catalogue of fantastic Ocean games that there were, only one TV tie-in was being developed for the machine (despite it's percieved capability). Thanks for any info you can provide (I came here because I saw a trace of a dead thread here talking about the KMS). Best Regards, Mark Campbell. www.konixmultisystem.co.uk

Gary Bracey: Ha! Wynn Holloway, I think the guy's name was (the guy who owned Konix). Sounded great at the time but I think the ambition overreached anyone's capabilities based on the technology that was available. I think Ocean might have even invested a couple of bob into the company...
Paul Hughes: Dave Collier was fiddling with the dev kit in our room for a few weeks - he had a version of New Zealand Story (well, a scroll and the Kiwi) running at 60 with graphics ripped straight off the arcade board.

Hi Bill,
I never did publicly thank you for digging for me - not like me, I must have been distracted while typing a response or something.
Thanks for the info!
I have since talked to Dave and Paulie and Dave really didn't seem impressed by the machine, Paulie was going to have a dig, but I doubt we'll ever see any trace of any Konix ports of Ocean games.
Thanks, all the best, Mark.
