Back in 92/93 Ocean employed this external "Design House" to come up with a couple of Game designs, once of which we were supposed to be using for the SNES version of Dennis. How come they decided to use them? I think Mike and Adrian used their design for the NES version of Dennis, but we ditched it and used Simons for the SNES, If I recall they wanted to make it like Double Dragon - John

I ran into some of those guys again a while back...can't remember where though...my mind's going with age.
maybe it wasn't worth remembering.
Dashed Decent designs.
Good God...the geeks this industry spawned.

bloody hell... those guys came in like they were england's answer to shigerui miyamoto, in reality it seemed like one day they were sat in the pub and said "ok! lets become a design company!!" those guys had NO idea about game design, let alone the limitations of the target machines!!
their version of the dennis design had these ENORMOUS sprites for the adults that went off screen.. completely and utterly unfeasable in memory, hardware and gameplay....
or maybe they were just years ahead of their time?? ;D
