I remember in the times when Ocean started to realease heavy 16bits stuff like LostPatrol and F29-Retaliator. In those times I readed it was preparing an Adidas soccer game for Amiga/ST which would gonna feature the biggers players in any other game. I even saw a screenshot.
Months later appeared the Adidas Championship Football we know, with small graphics a la KickOff.
Do you remember this game with big sprites??

Slightly off topic... but i've been told by a Mr Nick Taylor that Adidas Soccer was originally gonna be Liverpool FC, but Grandslam got the licence first. The Liverpool game was to feature a management section as well as the action segment... is that correct?

Never in a month of Sundays. The MD was a huge EVerton fan (he is now one of the main directors of the club) and therefore would not countenance a LFC game.
I think the game you are referring to, judasEZT, may have been 'The Golden Boot', which was licensed by Ocean France (I think) but never really exploited.

Thanks Gary, I remember the screenshot and really can be a game from Ocean France.
TheGoldenBoot,.. that makes me remember a game from TopoSoft and OceanSoftware.
It was a football game for 8bits which in Spain was released as "Emilio ButragueƱo Futbol", and was supposed that in England were going to be "TheGoldenBoot", but I think finally never was released in England.
