HUH?
Maybe it's Paul Hobart...he couldn't write game code so it wouldn't surprise me if he can't write at all...
I notice the useless bugger finally went back to where we sent all our criminal types...Oz.

ah...so the industry rumour mill finally gets it wrong...

it's intriguing because there's so much of it...

Well without wanting to be predictable and revert to type, this is all pretty indicative of the Ocean malaise...sweet bugger-all happening.
Not even a howdy-do or tip of the hat from anyone.
Can't say it surprises me...I actually predicted this at the start of this thread...and got the flesh torn off me for my endeavours.
I raise my non-existent hat (I'm indoors and it's bad luck wearing a hat inside) to Mr Harbison for a valiant effort but I guess we all knew in our heart of hearts it was destined to go the way of the dodo....
I'm not been the complete doom-sayer and committing this to the tar-pits along with the rest of us dinosaurs; and believe me there's plenty room in here for a lot more, but a brief line every now and then...is that too much to ask?
Nobody's life is that complete and action-packed that a few seconds torn away from being a night-elf in the stygian lands of balnazdigorath...or wherever...wouldn't hurt.
Come on...put down those nail guns, stop wandering aimlessly through the brain custard that is the internet... Bill's given us all an opportunity to chew the fat, argue, swap anecdotes and generally keep in touch with each other.
so...I'm going away now to think of something inflammatory to say and I want you all to at least comment, even if you agree, disagree or want to say something totaly unrelated.
toodle-pip!

Well, surprise surprise, I'm still here. Only takes 2 secs to check if anyone's written anything. I check every other day or so. It looks like the reunion killed it all. Was it really that bad? Plus the website hasn't been updated for an AGE. If some of the other stuff that hasn't been put online yet was then maybe it would give people summat to talk about. That group pic taken on the stairs still isn't on the site, would have thought that'd be the most obvious pic to put up. It's one of the only pics of most of the staff taken during Ocean's 'golden period'. What about the rest of the videos? There's piles more stuff. Come on Billy Boy, novelty worn off laddy?

Hi Simon and his playmates, thought I'd drop on and say hello, as you rightly say Simon it only takes a few seconds to write a couple of lines, and no one's life is that busy. However what you miss is the lack of inclination to talk to people you'd rather see, on the most part, hanging from a gibbet.

Greetings oh tall and scary one!
Very true indeed, but most of us don't have our own gibbet. You most likely do. For those idle days when you while away a few hours dreaming about dangling us annoying scousers from the yardarm.
I hope this scribbled note finds you in fine fettle. Give my regards to your lovely wife. Say hello to Mr Delves and I'll see Mr Cain myself sometime next week when I'm back in dear old Blighty.

Except this. Hope all is well, Jon. I only ever seem to see you at E3 these days (stop it, I can see that relieved look on your face!). You must come to the next reunion, then everyone will have to find someone else's effigy to stick pins into!!!

I was going to go to the last one but was away at the time, I obviously missed the happy faces that would have greeted my presence.
In fairness I still see quite a few of the lads I worked with at Ocean none of whom seem to frequent this site very much but hey ho, I'll still pop in occasionally to chuckle at the rantings of Ober Fuhrer Butler. By the way Delves is ok, still got ginger side boards but other than that ok, I have to look at Mr Potato Cain head when I'm in the office so I try and stay away as much as possible, bless him.
In answer to you kind remarks I'm in fine fettle, trying to do as little as possible and charging as much as I can for it, my only excuse is my wife's shoe addiction, personally I think it would be cheaper if she took up crack.

...................... my only excuse is my wife's shoe addiction, ................... Must be a helluva smell when she lights one up. Well, glad to hear things are ok with you. Please add my own regards to Mr Cain. It must be at least 12 years since I last saw him! Cheers, Gary
