Every year in comp.sys.sinclair, there is a competition to find the best players in a selection of games.
It got me thinking a little tonight, how about a competition where the programmers play the gamers on Ocean released games?
Some Speccy emulators have a tournament rzx mode (rzx for those not in the know is a method of recording gameplay as it happens for playback later, and tournament mode prevents cheating by stopping excessive pausing and restarting of play).
Choices of the games would be tricky, as we have found in the past with some (leeching points, bugs etc...), but I think there are plenty to choose from to make it worthwhile.
Just a bit of fun, but it would be amusing to see what happens!
Thoughts?
