One of the truly 'original' games programmers from the early 80's, his quirkiness and sense of humour were reflected in the games he wrote and became something of a signature. 43 is a truly tragic age to go, but in his short time here he left an impression on everyone he met... and the millions who played his games. Very sad to hear this news. I met Joffa at Byte Back in 2009, wanted to talk to him about more of his experiences and stories about working in the industry but never got the chance...
