It is an honour to be among you. My pal still covets his Ocean window sticker. And I still treasure all my Ocean games.
I was overjoyed when I recieved my Night Moves C64 package. My favourite game for quite a while was Midnight Resistance.
Did any of you fellas help in the making of that game?

Who did 'Midnight Resistance'? Was it 'Special FX'?

As far as I remember, yes.

Indeed it was Special FX...Karen Davies and her brother Chaz worked on it I think...not too sure who coded it...I think Joffa Smith was one of the few coders at that time.
Chaz and Karen retired to Gibraltar before Rage went belly-up...which a blind man on a galloping horse could see coming...but I suppose there's none so blind eh?
A little anecdote...anyone know why Special FX became Rage?
I do...

I know that Keith Tinman did the music for Midnight Resistance.

Robbie Tinman and Ivan Davies did the C64 (with music by Keith), Joffa did the ST version, Ian Moran did the Amiga version and I think Jimmy Baguley did the spectrum version.
Jolly nice conversions... IIRC Robbie held up his wedding to get the 64 version finished (now that's commitment!)

I loved the Speccy 128 version, a lot more playable than the arcade ever was.

it was called Rage due to the treatment Paul Finnegan thought he had recieved by the powers-that-be at Ocean.
that's the short and less libellous version.
