Just been looking at the old Edge article on the main site, which got me thinking.
If Ocean were still around today and they hadn't been bought out by Bruno and his merry French men, what kind of games do you think they would be churning out?
I guess this might be a question that Gary would like to answer...

Huh. I've just spent the best part of an hour composing a response to this and just copied/pasted it into this box. And then I deleted it. Reading it back I'm afraid I'm not comfortable posting this so publicly. There's nothing controversial there, it's just that I don't think my opinion on this is any more valid than anyone else's. Opinions are like arseholes - everyone has one. I'd rather just reflect on what WAS achieved by a company I was happy to work for rather than what MIGHT have been. However, I'm going to send my original reply to Bill via PM... just to prove I did write one!! Sorry, Swainy. I'll leave this to one of the other guys. Hope you understand.

No worries, just me being over interested Just one thing though, do you know if there were any projects under development that never got to see the light of day due to the buyout?

Internally, Zoiks and HMS Carnage / Dreadnought never made it out. Although how much that had to do with the buyout Im not sure.

John, does that mean 'Silver' was the game Warren worked on? If so, it is a totally different game to the one originally conceived.... Did you work on that?
