Simon Butler is bald and a twat
Hello Simon nice to see you're still hitting the heights of wit, I hear you've had to go all the way to the land of goose stepping skinheads to work, still our loss their gain, the lucky lucky Germans.
You're right by the way someone did let me know about your little missive, bless them.

Hoorah!
At last...Moby Manc the great white whale surfaces!
Greetings oh mighty grey one!
At last someone who appreciates the cut and thrust of Swiftian wit and Wildean humour...the verbal dance, the gentleman's ballet of phrase and paraphrase.
And then usually punches the bald scouser for being smug and stupid.
Yin to my Yang, Napoleon to my Wellington, Piglet to my Pooh Bear.
Hello Jon... One swift insult and you already brought a smile to my wrinkled old clock in these troubled times.
And yes...I am indeed spending 6 months of the year in the land of bratwurst and leiderhosen.
I feel somewhat out of it at times, but you my old mate would be right at home...like you the Germans feel the David Hasselhoff look is quite de rigeur and the mullet the height of tonsorial delight.
(Butler crouches low in the bunker and waits for the inevitable strike which he knows will be swift and unmerciless. He expects no less from the Dark Lord.)

My Yin to your Yang, I best be the male part Butler, or basically you're saying I'm a bird and you're my daddy, also you're Wellington and I'm Napoleon doean't sit that well, you're saying I'm French and you could batter me, assuming your mate the Prussians turn up. Not sure about being an ugly litle pig to your cute, but stupid, Bear. Basically you've had a right pop and don't think calling me your old mate will cover it either.
Nice to hear you're contributing a bit of banter Simon, one could get a little tired of the rambling reminscing from yesteryear where everyone was everyones friend and life was filled with funny anecdotal moments. I remember a bunch of moaning, backbiting development staff who's only function was to tap buttons and dribble over girls they'd never talk to......still maybe that 's just the ones I worked with...........ho ho ho

Lets get these two miserable auld buggers on Big Brother, lock them in for 3 months and see who kills the other in the most imaginative ways....its a ratings winner. (also means we can turn them off when we get bored

Hoorah! I consider myself well and truly trounced... I used to think I could always hold my own in a verbal one on one...but Mr Oldham is just too fast...always has been and too scathing. I bow long and low to the Master. Take it easy Jon...These are troubled times and there's too few good ones left. And you were spot on in your Ocean analysis as well.

"there are those who know...and those who think they know"
This obviously applies to our latest addition, one "Slick" who is apparently not all his name implies, as he has no idea where people are or what they are up to?
Please leave comments such as yours at the door as they aren't appreciated.
(Dear Lord I must be getting old when I'm starting to lay down the law regarding behaviour previosuly practised by myself.)

Actually Simon -
I remember the esteemed Mr. Oldham - very well indeed... and had a number of small run-ins with the master of production. As he has already stated in an earlier post about reminiscing about how everyone was everyones friend - that wasnt the case! Sometimes an EGO can get in the way of people working - and quite frankly Jon had about as much time for us in QA as George Bush has at reading memo's on intelligence - NONE! Its only my opinion - and lets be hones - opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one - and it neednt be taken seriously... hes still working in the industry looking a bit older and fatter; but why should he or anyone really worry about what I think ?? After all its not a closed forum where the only things that matter are all the good things people can say about each other... it wasnt all nice being at Ocean.... was it?
