Wasn't Ocean working on a game (hey, it might even have been released) where the landscape was all built using voxels? There may or may not have been a plane in the game.

Outcast was Voxel based - by the time it was done 3D hardware accelerators where the PC hardware du jour.
Superb achievement technically...
Unless you're thinking of HMS Carnage (should that be Titanic?)

Nah, it was well before Outcast, I think. I'm sure I saw a preview in Edge and I'm sure it was Ocean and I'm sure it was a flying-y thing.
Mind you, if voxels caught on, somebody could've produced a racing - Voxel Chevette Racing.....

Game design was fantastic as well. Some really nice touches. Didn't Ocean have this game and was it part of the Infogrames buyout? Even the design of the game itself was clever.
