www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseek.cgi?regexp=%5ENever+Go+With+Strangers$&pub=%5EOcean+Software+Ltd$&model=spectrumWhen I recieved back all the stuff recovered from my microdrives I found a loading screen I'd completely forgotten about. It wasn't very good cos it was the 1st one I did and I didn't use anything to work from, i just drew it out of my head. I recall Gary coming to ask me to do a screen for this 'game' that someone had written just after I'd started and was commencing work on 'Wizball'. Now me just having started, I was still excited, so I wrote on this loading screen 'Ocean are fab' and put '6 Central St' on the house. It's on the WOS site as being published by Ocean but I'm sure it's not and that association has come about because of the 'Ocean' text on the lamp post. It's an educational 'game' written in basic and really isn't anywhere near the quality of anything that 'Ocean' would have published. It makes 'Knight Rider' look good. Anyone know anything about it?

It does ring a bell. I think it was some initiative in order to raise awareness in young kids in schools. Because the association with computer games was 'cool' then we were asked to endorse the product. I just don't precisely recall what became of the game, but I think it was a giveaway in schools, etc. And before you ask - no, I don't know if K.L. was the tester on the title.
