why did none of teh ocean software detect any hardware for the machines from the 80's several interfaces now offer dma and mass storage wouldnt an extra 8kb of rom placed ram allow improved routines couldnt a dma have done most of the sprite and scrolling work how was the dma/blitter used on the amiga to improve 3d polygons most amiga software i saw was simply ported from the st and was therefore slower seems a bit of shame did any one fix r-type joystick control input for amiga

R-Type wasn't one of our games. In those days our keyboards had punctuation facilities, which may be the cause of your confusion.
